Born in Madrid (Spain) and trained as a scientist, Tatiana's passion for writing goes back for as long as she remembers. Writing stories has always been part of her life. Following her move to New Zealand in her mid thirties, she rediscovered her passion for writing stories, and took several courses in creative writing from the New Zealand Writers College. Tatiana has won the second award of the '1st Letras Latinas short story competition' in 2014 organised by Alac Inc in Auckland, New Zealand, with her story 'A trip to Vienna'. Tatiana also had two mini short stories, 'Farewell' and 'If I went there for a second time', published in English and Spanish in 2018 by Letras Latinas Publishing House.
In addition to science, Tatiana has recently started a business as a life coach. In her spare time, Tatiana loves reading as much as she can, spending time with her daughter, catching up with friends, dancing, tramping and travelling.Tatiana lives in Wellington (New Zealand) with her daughter and their lovely Golden Retriever. 'A trip towards the sunset' is her first novel.
