Karen Zelas is a Christchurch poet, playwright, novelist and anthologist, and a former psychiatrist and psychotherapist. 'Threads' is her fifth collection of poetry. Her poems have been published in literary journals and anthologies in NZ and overseas, including 'Essential New Zealand Poems, Facing the Empty Page' (Random House 2014).
