A diary down through the years of the Opawa Rugby Football Club, one of the most successful clubs in the Marlborough Rugby Football Union's history, from the Club's inception in 1906 until it's demise in 1993. As well as a diary of the Club's activities, this book includes a brief humorous look at the development of Rugby Union as it makes its way to the colonies and a brief history of the game in the province of Marlborough before the District Scheme was introduced to even up the playing field. Each season is covered individually, highlighting the successes on and off the field. History of the game locally and overall is explored and one hundred plus team photos appear within the pages. The book culminates with a selection of an all-time team that is stacked with All Blacks, AB trialists, and South & North Island representatives.
