About the Author
Colleen Brown lives in South Auckland, and has a varied background spanning education, politics, and disability. She has a master's degree in education policy, and has served on the Manukau City Council and been a Counties Manukau representative on the DHB. As well as being an author, she is a public speaker, a disability advocate, and a writer for the Listener, with a focus on South Auckland.
