Unacclaimed: Your Occasional Muse

Often, I am asked why I write. It is a form of release, a form of comfort, a form of observation of the world I live in. I publish my writing for posterity, for the future generation that is my family and as the occasional muse on other peoples’ bookshelves who show an interest in my poetry. This collection explores ideas around self, about identity, about recognition, about reasons for writing, asking questions about purpose in this life. Someone, a while ago asked of me what was my purpose and I replied “exactly”. I wasn’t being facetious or cryptic when I answered that question. Hopefully my writing will do the trick as they say.
