Aotearoa New Zealand's story can be told through the key documents and landmarks that have moved the country towards what it is today. From the earliest markers of territory, through the items of constitutional development, to the international agreements
that set our place in the world, this country's development and growth are marked and illustrated. Selected by leading historian Dr Paul Moon, each of the 50 founding documents is provided with a description and historical context. For anybody that is interested in how we became the nation we are today, or is looking for the background so necessary to understanding the developments in the relationship between Maori and Pakeha, Founding Documents of Aotearoa New Zealand can fulfil
many needs.
