About the Author
Peter Millett is one of those rare New Zealand authors who has found success at home and abroad. He has written across a number of children's genres and all of his work is stamped with his trademark energy and zany humour. He is the author of the Johnny Danger DIY Spy series (Penguin), Boy Zero series (Faber & Faber), The Invincibles series (Scholastic) and a range of picture books including My Old Man, He Played Rugby (Scholastic), The Dinos on the Bus (Ladybird) and Classic Rhymes for Kiwi Kids (Bateman). He lives in Auckland, New Zealand. Paul Beavis is the author of three critically acclaimed picture books and has illustrated several stories for other authors, most notably the Nee Naw series with Deano Yipadee. His work has been praised for its quirky characters, gorgeous use of colour and for being just the right level of naughty to delight young audiences. In 2015 he received the Russell Clark Award for Illustration for Mrs Mo's Monster, which was described by UK's Independent as an 'explosively illustrated fable...a real find'. He lives in Wellington.
