Cadence Chung (1994-) is a poet, musician, and composer from Te Whanganui a Tara | Wellington currently studying Classical Performance at the New Zealand School of Music. Her work has been published in literary journals, museums, and galleries. Cadence’s debut poetry collection, Anomalia, was published to great acclaim and her 2022 original musical In Blind Faith received national news coverage and a sold-out season. She has won many awards and was mostly the inaugural Ruth and Oswald L Kraus Innovator-in-Residence at Wai-te-ata Press, Te Herenga Waka – Victoria University of Wellington which was the impetus for Mythos.
