About the Author

Gillian Torckler has written 14 children's books, including the award-winning My Name is Henry Fanshaw and critically acclaimed My Aunt Honor. This is her first book with Duck Creek Press. She has also written a number of other general non-fiction books and scientific publications. Nikki Slade Robinson has illustrated over 100 children's books and readers. She has also both written and illustrated a number of books published by Duck Creek Press including the award-winning The little Kiwi's Matariki, Ruru's H?ngi, Weka's Waiata and I Am An Artist.
