My book, Too Much Stuff explores the social issue of consumerism and pollution. It follows "a wolf with a fandangled machine, introducing some 'stuff' that [the sheep] have never seen". He promises their empty lives will be infinitely better with his amazing invention. 
"The sheep are so happy, they love their new toy.   They bang it and bash it and smash it with joy.  But after a few tries it just runs out of fun.  Oh well they all think,  Just buy another one." 
It takes a small lamb to see what a mess they are making and he starts recycling all the 'stuff' to make more robust and useful things for his peers.
