BWB is hosting a public event on the evening of Thursday, 24 October at the Public Trust Hall in central Wellington to mark the arrival of Vincent O’Malley’s new book, The Invasion of Waikato / Te Riri ki Tainui.

The event will feature kōrero from Vincent O’Malley and speakers from Waikato, focusing on this important chapter of our history.

The timing of the event also coincides with Rā Maumahara on 28 October, the national day of remembrance for the New Zealand Wars.
