  1. Ko ngā mea e whakakoa ana i ahau, ko ngā tae, nā te mea he ātaahua ngā tae o ngā pikitia. He ātaahua rawa atu.

  2. Ko Poaka taku tino kiripuaki, nā te mea he pōrangi rawa atu ia.

  3. Ko ngā  kōrero, he whakakatakata, nā te mea i kī a Poaka he whakakatakata ia, ā, kāhore a Poaka i mate wheke. He tino kaha a Poaka.

  4. He uaua ki te pānui i ngā kupu e hono ana, pēnā i te tuhi ā-ringa.

I ohorere au, ko te whakaaro ka oika a Poaka, engari kua kōrero kē, he hātakēhi tēnā. Ki ōku whakaaro, mā ngā tāngata pōuri tēnei pukapuka hei whakaharikoa i a rātou, e 5-12 te pakeke.

  1. What made me happy were the colours because the colours of the pictures are really beautiful.

  2. Poaka (Pig) is my favourite character because he is very silly.

  3. The stories are hilarious because Poaka says funny things. Poaka didn’t give just give up. He is very strong.

  4. It is difficult to read the text that is linked together, like hand writing.

I was surprised, I thought that Poaka would oink, but he can talk, which is funny. This book is for people who are sad to cheer them up. It is for ages 5-12.
